The West Witton parish also encompases the small village of Swinithwaite, home to Swinnithwaite Hall and Estate, Berry's Farm shop and cafe and The Temple Folly (which is now a self catering retreat). There are woodland and meadow walks, scenic views of Wensleydale and Llamas to enjoy providing something for all ages to enjoy.
From West Witton you have access to; Hawes, home of the Wensleydale Creamery which is just 15 miles to the west, Aysgarth Falls, the horse racing fraternity of Middleham along with Middleham Castle, Bolton Castle, Northallerton 20 miles to the east, and the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales within easy reach.
